Okay, so today I wanted to get a little personal and dive into something I’ve been experimenting with: tarot card readings. I’m not claiming to be an expert or anything, but I’ve found it a really cool way to get some clarity and, you know, just think about things from a different angle.
I started by grabbing my deck. Nothing fancy, just a standard Rider-Waite deck I picked up a while back. I’m still learning all the card meanings, so I keep a little guidebook handy. Don’t judge!
Figuring Out My Questions
The big thing, I realized, is figuring out what you actually want to ask. You can’t just be like, “Tell me my future!” It’s gotta be more specific. So, I sat down with my journal and started brainstorming some areas where I felt a little stuck or uncertain. I used

Doing the Reading
With my questions sorted, I shuffled the deck while trying to focus on each one individually. Then, I laid out a simple three-card spread: past, present, future. I know there are tons of different spreads, but this one felt manageable for a newbie like me.
For the “creative projects” question, I got:
I did the same thing for the other two questions, taking notes on the cards I pulled and what my guidebook said about them. Honestly, some of it felt a little vague, but some of it was surprisingly spot-on. It’s all about interpretation, right?
Reflecting on the Answers
The most valuable part, for me, wasn’t necessarily the cards themselves, but the thinking they sparked. Like, the Two of Cups for my creative future got me thinking about who I might want to collaborate with, and what kind of project that might be. It opened up some possibilities I hadn’t considered before.
The relationship question was a bit tougher, but the cards definitely pointed to some communication issues I’d been avoiding. Ouch. But, hey, at least I’m aware of it now, right?
Overall, I found this whole tarot experiment to be pretty insightful. It’s not about predicting the future, but more about gaining a fresh perspective and sparking some introspection. I’ll definitely be doing this again!
