Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get more organized with my tarot readings, and I finally decided to make a proper tarot guide book. I’ve been jotting down notes on random pieces of paper and in various notebooks, and it’s been a mess. Time to get serious!
Getting Started
First, I grabbed a nice, blank notebook. Nothing fancy, just something with enough pages and a cover I liked. I also gathered all my scattered notes – from old readings, books, and online resources. It was like an archaeological dig, unearthing all these bits and pieces of tarot wisdom.
Organizing the Chaos
Next, I started organizing everything. I decided to go card by card, dedicating a page or two to each one. I knew this would take time, but it felt like the best way to create something truly useful.
- I began with the Major Arcana, since those are the biggies. For each card, I wrote down the basic keywords and meanings.
- Then, I added my own interpretations, based on my personal experiences with the card. This is where those scattered notes really came in handy.
- I also made little sections in my notebook to jot down my own spread ideas and notes.
- For the Minor Arcana, I grouped them by suit (Wands, Cups, Swords, Pentacles) and followed the same process. Keywords, personal interpretations, and any relevant notes from past readings.
Adding Personal Touches
This is where it got really fun. I started adding little doodles and sketches next to some of the cards. Nothing artistic, just little visual reminders of what the card means to me. I also included some of my favorite quotes and affirmations that relate to specific cards.
The Result
I am pretty stoked about the result! It’s still a work in progress. I use it during my readings.
It’s not just a collection of information; it’s a reflection of my tarot journey. And it’s already proving to be way more helpful than my old system of random notes!
