the loverstarot in a Reading: Discover the Secrets for you

Okay, here’s my blog post about my “the loverstarot” experience, written in a casual, personal style:

So, I’ve been messing around with this whole tarot thing lately. It’s kinda fun, you know? I got this deck – “the loverstarot” – mostly because the artwork looked kinda cool. I wasn’t expecting, like, actual magic or anything, but I figured it’d be a neat way to maybe think about things differently.

First off, I cleared a space. I didn’t go full-on ritual or anything, I just put a nice cloth down on my coffee table and made sure the cat wasn’t going to jump up and knock everything over. Then, I spent a little time just holding the deck, shuffling it, and kinda getting a feel for the cards. It felt, I dunno, kinda grounding? Like taking a few deep breaths.

My Question

I had this thing on my mind – a bit of a work situation, not a huge deal, but something that was bugging me. I wasn’t sure how to handle it. So, instead of asking a super specific question, I just kinda focused on the situation and asked the cards, “What do I need to know about this?” Super vague, I know, but I didn’t want to lead the cards, ya know?

The Spread

I didn’t do anything fancy, just a simple three-card spread. I laid them out, face down, then flipped them over one by one.

  • Card 1: Past. This was supposed to represent the background of the situation.
  • Card 2: Present. This was about the current situation, the heart of the matter.
  • Card 3: Future. This wasn’t a prediction, more like a potential outcome or advice.

I’m not gonna go into the specific cards I drew, because honestly, that’s kinda personal. But I looked at the images, really tried to see what they might be saying to me. I also checked the little booklet that came with the deck, just to get some basic meanings. I used to get the message on the cards.

My thought

It wasn’t like a lightning bolt of insight, more like… a gentle nudge. The cards didn’t tell me what to do, but they kinda helped me see the situation from a different angle. Like, I was so focused on one aspect of it, and the cards reminded me of some other factors I hadn’t really considered.

The “future” card especially made me think. It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, but it wasn’t doom and gloom either. It felt like a reminder that my actions had consequences, and that I had a choice in how things played out.

So, did the “the loverstarot” magically solve my problem? Nah. But did it help me think about it in a new way and maybe feel a little more confident about handling it? Yeah, I think it did. I even wrote down my thoughts in my journal, just to help me process everything.

I plan to keep playing around with the cards. Not as a crystal ball, but more like a… a conversation starter with myself. It’s kinda like having a weird, artsy friend who gives you surprisingly good advice sometimes.
