The Star Card Tarot Love: Find Hope and Healing in Your Relationships

Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get a better handle on using tarot for love readings, and I figured what better card to really dive into than The Star? It’s all about hope and renewal, right? So, I decided to do a little experiment of my own, see how it played out in real life.

First, I got myself comfy. I lit a few candles—nothing fancy, just some I had lying around—and put on some chill music. Gotta set the mood, you know? Then I shuffled my deck, focusing on getting clarity on my current love situation (which, let’s be honest, has been a bit of a rollercoaster lately).

My Little Experiment

I did a simple three-card spread. Past, present, future. Guess what popped up in the ‘present’ position? You guessed it – The Star. I actually laughed out loud a little. It felt… pointed.

  • Past: I got the Five of Pentacles. It’s about some financial problems or feelings, it makes me think of some past relationship patterns, feeling insecure in relationships, and being afraid of loss.
  • Present: I got the Star. This felt like a sign of renewal, a new beginning, and finding hope.
  • Future: The Two of * is such a good sign for future partnerships or love interest, feeling more connected and secure in partnership.

I spent some time just looking at The Star card. It was my old, trusted deck, so I’ve seen it a million times. But this time, I was trying to feel it, not just analyze it. I focused on that feeling of hope the card is supposed to represent. Like, really letting myself believe things could get better, that I deserved good things.

Then, I did something kinda scary. I decided to act on that feeling of hope. There’s this person I’ve been kinda into, but I’ve been holding back, afraid of rejection, and stuck in past hurts. Classic, right? So, I sent them a text. Just a casual “hey, how’s it going?” Nothing major, but a step.

And… they replied! We ended up chatting for a while, and it was… nice. Really nice. Now, I’m not saying The Star card magically fixed everything. It’s not like we’re suddenly soulmates or anything. But it did give me that little push I needed. It reminded me to stay open, to have a little faith.

I’m going to keep working with The Star, I use tarot cards to connect to my own feelings and the world around me. I jotted down the whole experience in my journal, to track how things evolve. It’s all about the small steps, right? And right now, I’m feeling pretty darn hopeful, all thanks to taking some action and a little piece of cardboard.
