Try a New Relationship Tarot Spread: Find Clarity & Insights

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards for a while now, mostly just for myself and close friends. But lately, I’ve been getting more into relationship readings, and I stumbled upon this “New Relationship” spread that I wanted to try out. I figured, why not document the whole thing? Maybe it’ll help someone else, or maybe I’ll just learn something new myself.

So, first things first, I got my space ready. I like to keep things pretty chill – lit a candle, put on some calming music, you know, the usual vibe-setting stuff. I grabbed my favorite deck, the one I’ve been using for ages, and shuffled it while thinking about the, uh, potential relationship I wanted to explore. It’s all very new, so this spread seemed perfect.

The Spread Itself

This spread is pretty straightforward. It uses six cards, laid out like this:

  • Card 1: Me in this situation.
  • Card 2: The other person in this situation.
  • Card 3: The potential of the relationship.
  • Card 4: What brings us together.
  • Card 5: Any challenges we might face.
  • Card 6: Advice for moving forward.

I laid out the cards one by one, face down, and then flipped them over all at once. I like to get the full picture before diving into each card individually. It’s like, getting a bird’s-eye view before walking the path, you know?

My Reading

Okay, here’s what I pulled:

  • Card1: Five of Cups.
  • Card2: The Lovers.
  • Card3: Ace of Pentacles.
  • Card4: Two of Cups.
  • Card5: The Tower.
  • Card6: Knight of Wands.

My first thought? Whoa, that’s a lot of emotion.

The Five of Cups for me, the Two of Cups for what brings us together.I feel there’s a lot of emotional baggage I need to be clear.

The Lovers for the other person…interesting! Ace of Pentacles for the potential. The Tower as a challenge? Yikes.

And that Knight of Wands for final advice…

I spent a good chunk of time just staring at the cards, letting the images and my intuition do their thing. I jotted down some notes in my journal – keywords, feelings, initial interpretations. I find that writing things down really helps me process everything. After feeling, thinking and writing, I have a more solid idea about the reading.

After this reading and recording the cards, I think I should do a clarifying reading sometime soon to help me get a better understanding of the situation.
