Understanding the 8s in Tarot: Easy Tips for You!

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Tarot cards lately, and today I really wanted to dive into the Eights. I mean, I’ve been through the wringer with the Sevens, you know, all those challenges and stuff, and I was curious about what’s next.

I started this morning by shuffling my deck and pulling out all the Eights. There are six of them, which is kind of a lot, right? I laid them out on my table and just stared at them for a while. Each one has its own vibe, its own little story going on. And what I started to see was that they all have something to do with boundaries, like figuring out where the lines are in different situations.

  • Eight of Wands: This one, it’s like a burst of energy, right? But today, it felt more like a reminder not to rush things. It was like the cards were saying, “Slow down, enjoy the ride, it’s not just about getting there super fast.”
  • Eight of Swords: This one was interesting. It made me think about how sometimes you just have to jump in and learn as you go. There’s no magic formula, you know? It’s all about staying open to whatever happens.

So, I spent the whole day with these cards. I’d pick one up, look at the picture, and think about what it meant to me. I even wrote down some notes in my journal, just random thoughts and feelings. It felt kind of like a conversation with myself, or maybe with the universe, I don’t know.

One thing that really hit me is that these cards, they’re not about predicting the future or anything like that. They’re more like a mirror, showing you what’s going on inside your head and how it connects to what’s happening around you. It’s like, your inner world and the outer world, they’re both happening at the same time, and the cards help you see that.

By the end of the day, I felt like I had a better handle on this whole “Eight” thing. It’s about recognizing cause and effect, you know? Like, your actions have consequences, and time plays a role in all of it. I also felt like each Eight was showing me a different aspect of strength. Not just physical strength, but also having the strength to change directions, to recover from setbacks, and to just keep moving forward.

Real Talk

I know some people think Tarot is all woo-woo, but for me, it’s just a tool for self-reflection. And today, it helped me see that I need to stop being so hard on myself, stop letting people push me around. The Eights were like a wake-up call, saying, “Hey, you’ve got this. Just figure out where you stand, and go for it.” And you know what? I think I will.
