Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “Native American Zodiac” thing pop up all over my socials, and the Raven symbol, in particular, caught my eye. I’m always up for a little self-discovery, so I decided to dive in and see what it’s all about.
First, I googled “Native American Zodiac Raven” to get a general idea. I found a bunch of websites, some looked more legit than others. I kinda skimmed through them, looking for the common threads.
What Did I Find?
It seems like the Raven, in some Native American traditions, represents balance, change, and maybe even a bit of magic or mystery. People born under this sign (September 23 – October 22, apparently) are supposed to be charming, diplomatic, and maybe a little idealistic.
- Charming: Okay, I can see that. I like to think I’m pretty good at getting along with people.
- Diplomatic: I do try to avoid conflict, and find some common ground.
- Idealistic: Guilty. I definitely have big dreams, and sometimes my head in the clouds.
My Deeper Dive Process.
I grabbed a notebook and started jotting down some thoughts. I wanted to see how these traits actually played out in my life.
I thought to myself, “If it is a symbol of change and transformation for my life, I must see how I dealt with it”.
I spent a good hour just reflecting on past experiences. Big life changes, relationship stuff, career moves… It was kind of intense, actually! I realized I tend to go through cycles of intense activity followed by periods of quiet reflection. Maybe that’s the Raven’s influence?
My Raven Result!
Honestly, it was pretty cool. I don’t know if I “believe” in zodiac signs, Native American or otherwise, but it was a fun way to do some self-reflection. I think I’ll keep exploring this, maybe look into some other Native American traditions and see what else I can learn. It’s definitely given me some food for thought!
