Okay, so the other day I got it into my head to mess around with Tarot cards and the Tree of Life. I’ve been kinda dabbling in both for a while, but never really put them together. Figured it was time to see what would happen if I did.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed my trusty Rider-Waite deck. I like this one because the images are pretty clear, and I’ve used it enough that I’m starting to get a feel for the cards, you know?
Then, I pulled out this Tree of Life diagram I’d printed out ages ago. It’s got all the Sephiroth and paths labeled, which is super helpful when you’re still learning(like me!).
The Experiment
I decided to do is keep pull card one by one to see the relationship between tarot and the tree of life.
- I shuffled the deck really well, focusing on the idea of connecting the cards to the Tree.
- Then I laid out the cards one by one.
- I carefully placed the cards.
- I recorded the cards I got.
Make Sense of Result
I tried to analysis what I got from the result.
- Take some time to think about the relationship.
- Then write down all the things.
- I compared the cards with tree of life.
- Find out the symbolic meanings .
Wrapping Up
Honestly, it was a pretty cool experience. I definitely feel like I got a better understanding of both the cards and the Tree of Life by doing this. It’s like they shed light on each other, you know? I’m probably going to keep messing around with this, maybe try different spreads or focus on specific Sephiroth. If you’re into this stuff, give it a shot!
