My Go at a Free 10 Card Tarot Thing
So, I found myself with some downtime the other day, just poking around online. Stumbled across a few places offering a “free 10 card tarot reading”. Curiosity got the better of me, you know? Figured, why not give it a whirl, see what it spits out. Didn’t cost anything but a few minutes.
First thing, I had to find one that looked straightforward. Some sites were cluttered, full of ads, just noisy. Found a simpler looking one eventually. It asked me to kinda focus my thoughts, maybe on a general question or just my current situation. I didn’t have a burning question, so I just tried to clear my head a bit, think about the week ahead, that sort of thing.
Then came the part of picking the cards. On this site, it was like a digital deck. I had to click to “shuffle” them. Did that a few times, felt a bit silly clicking a button to shuffle pretend cards, but hey, that was the process. After shuffling, it prompted me to select 10 cards. One click for each card. As I clicked, the cards got laid out on the screen in a specific pattern. Ten cards, boom, boom, boom, filling up the designated spots.
- Card 1 popped up.
- Then Card 2 across it.
- Card 3 below.
- Card 4 above.
- Card 5 to the left.
- Card 6 to the right.
- Then four more cards went up the side, 7, 8, 9, 10.
Once all ten were laid out, the interpretations showed up. Each card position apparently meant something different – like, the near future, my hopes, external influences, that kind of stuff. The site gave a little blurb for each card based on its position.
Honestly, reading through it was… interesting. Some bits felt weirdly accurate, made me nod a little. Other parts were super vague or just didn’t seem to connect with anything going on with me right now. It’s like reading a horoscope, I guess? You try to fit it to your life.
I spent maybe ten minutes looking it over. Didn’t write anything down, just read it on the screen. It wasn’t like some big revelation dropped from the sky. More like a prompt for a bit of self-reflection. Made me think about a couple of things from a slightly different angle, which wasn’t a bad way to spend a few minutes. Didn’t change my life or anything, but it was a process I went through, from finding the site, clicking the buttons, to reading the output. Just another little experiment ticked off the list.
