Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Tarot cards for a while, and I always get tripped up on the Pages. Like, what do they even mean? So, I decided to really dig in and figure it out. I mean, I started by just pulling cards like normal, you know, for daily readings. But the Pages kept popping up, and I was just drawing a blank. It was so frustrating!
My Deep Dive into Page Cards
I grabbed my favorite Tarot deck and a couple of well-regarded books .I also looked some stuff up online – seriously, there’s so much info out there, it’s kinda overwhelming. I decided to focus on just one deck for now, so things didn’t get too confusing. I’m using the good ol’ Rider-Waite deck, ’cause it’s, like, the standard, right?
I laid out all four Pages: Page of Wands, Page of Cups, Page of Swords, and Page of Pentacles. I just stared at them for a bit. Just trying to feel what they were about, you know?
- Page of Wands: This dude looks all excited, holding a big stick (wand, whatever). It felt like new ideas, new adventures, being all fired up about something. I wrote down “enthusiasm,” “exploration,” and “new beginnings.”
- Page of Cups: This one’s got a fish popping out of a cup! Super weird, but it made me think of emotions, intuition, and maybe even getting a surprise message. I jotted down “creativity,” “feelings,” and “unexpected news.”
- Page of Swords: Okay, this guy looks a little intense, holding a sword up high. It screamed “thinking,” “learning,” and maybe even being a bit defensive. My notes said “ideas,” “communication,” and “challenges.”
- Page of Pentacles: This Page is just staring at a coin like it’s the most fascinating thing ever. It felt grounded, practical, and focused on the real world. I wrote “manifestation,” “learning,” and “opportunity.”
Then I started pulling a Page card each day for a week, and journaling about how it related to my day. Let me tell you. It was eye-opening.
One day I got the Page of Wands, and I ended up brainstorming a totally new project at work. Another day, the Page of Cups showed up, and I had a super emotional (but good!) conversation with my best friend. It was like the cards were giving me little hints about what to focus on.
After that I tried to read what I write *, Pages are all about new beginnings, messages, and that feeling of being a student – always learning, always growing. They’re like the “freshman” energy of the Tarot, all wide-eyed and ready to soak things up. They can also represent a part of ourselves that’s ready to explore something new.
It’s still a work in progress, obviously. Tarot’s a journey, not a destination, right? But I feel like I’ve finally cracked the code on the Pages, at least a little bit. It’s all about paying attention, connecting the dots, and trusting your gut. I’m going to keep practicing for sure.
