My Quick Tarot Session Today
Alright, so I wanted to share what I did this morning. Felt the need for a bit of clarity, you know? So, I decided to do a quick three-card tarot reading. Nothing too fancy, just a simple check-in.
First thing, I went over and picked up my favorite deck. It’s worn in just right, feels comfortable in my hands. Found a quiet spot, took a couple of deep breaths just to settle myself. Didn’t have a super specific question, more like asking ‘what’s the energy right now?’
Then, I started shuffling. I shuffled them for a good few minutes, just mixing them up thoroughly. I like the sound and feel of it, helps me focus. Kept shuffling until it felt ‘done’. You kinda get a feeling, you know?
Once I stopped shuffling, I cut the deck into three piles, then put them back together in a different order. Then I fanned them out a bit, face down.
I hovered my hand over the cards and just pulled the three that felt right. Didn’t overthink it.
- Card 1
- Card 2
- Card 3
I laid them out in a simple line, left to right. Usually, I think of it as situation, action, and outcome, or maybe past, present, future. Today felt more like just understanding the flow.
Looking at the Cards
Turned over the first one. Okay, that made some sense, felt like it reflected some stuff I’ve been dealing with recently. A sort of challenge or decision point.
Then the second card, the middle one. This one seemed to point towards how I’m handling things right now, the approach I’m taking. It felt… active, like something is definitely in motion.
Finally, the third card. This one usually gives a hint about where things might be heading based on the first two. It wasn’t super dramatic, more like a gentle nudge towards a possible resolution or a state of being to aim for.
Spent a few minutes just looking at them together, seeing how they flowed. Didn’t dive super deep into every single symbol, just took in the main vibe of each card and the story they told as a trio.
Wrapping Up
After sitting with them for maybe five minutes, I gathered the cards back up. The reading felt pretty spot-on for the general feeling I’ve had lately. It wasn’t earth-shattering news, but it was a nice confirmation and offered a little perspective.
Put the deck back in its box. Just a simple, grounding practice to start the day. That was my little three-card pull for today.
