So, I was messing around with tarot cards the other day, just for kicks. I’m no expert, but I like the pictures and the whole mysterious vibe. I decided to try a “tarot quick” reading, you know, something fast and easy.

First, I grabbed my deck and gave them a good shuffle while thinking about a general question about my day. Nothing too specific, just like, “What should I know about today?”
Then, I cut the deck into three piles with my left hand, just like I read somewhere. After that, I flipped the top card of each pile. I laid them out in a row, from left to right.
Here’s What I Got:
- First Card: The Magician. This dude is all about action and using your skills.
- Second Card: The Lovers. Okay, this one can be about relationships, but also choices, maybe harmony, that kind of thing.
- Third Card: Ten of Wands. This card looks a bit overwhelming. It shows a person carrying a huge bundle of sticks. It’s about burdens and responsibilities.
I stared at the cards for a while, trying to piece it all together. My very rough interpretation was that I might have an opportunity to use my skills today (Magician), but I’d have to make some choices about how to approach it (Lovers), and it might end up feeling like a lot of work or responsibility (Ten of Wands).
Honestly, I don’t know if it meant anything, but it was a fun little exercise. It got me thinking about my day in a different way. I ended up taking on a new project at work that was a bit outside my usual stuff. It was challenging, for sure, but I managed to get it done, the whole thing felt a bit like the tarot quick result. Maybe there’s something to this tarot thing after all. Or maybe not. Either way, it was an interesting experience.
