What to Ask Tarot Readers? (Easy Examples & Tips)

Okay, so I’ve been getting into tarot readings lately, and I’ve realized that asking the right questions is super important. It’s not just about getting a “yes” or “no” answer. It’s about getting guidance, you know?

So, I started by just trying it myself. I got a deck, shuffled the cards, and… well, I felt a bit lost. I didn’t really know what to ask. My first few questions were pretty basic, like, “Will I get that job?” Stuff like that. The answers were okay, but they didn’t give me much to work with.

Then I decided to try a professional reading. I found someone local who had good reviews. Before the session, I spent some time thinking about what I really wanted clarity on. I realized I needed to be more specific, but also more open-ended.

My First “Real” Questions

Instead of “Will I get that job?”, I came up with these:

  • What steps can I take to improve my chances of getting a job in my field?
  • What are my strengths and weaknesses in my career search?
  • What challenges might I face in my job search, and how can I overcome them?
  • What am I not seeing about my current career path?

See the difference? I wasn’t just looking for a prediction. I was asking for actionable advice and insight. When I met with the reader, I explained my thought process a little. I told her I was looking for guidance, not just fortune-telling.

She was totally on board! The reading was so much more helpful. We talked through each question, and she helped me interpret the cards in a way that made sense for my situation. It wasn’t just about what the cards “said,” but how they related to my specific questions and my life.

My “Revised”Questions, After reading.

After that I got a better grasp of the cards in a way that made sense for my situation.

  • What unexpected opportunities should I be open to?
  • How can I better network and connect with people in my field?
  • What lessons have I learned from past job experiences that can help me now?

The key takeaway? Be clear about what you want to know, but be open to the answers. And don’t be afraid to ask for clarification during the reading! It’s a conversation, not a one-way street.

Honestly, the cards themselve are something, it really did help me. I am glad that I could record those question. It is the right way to go!
