Alright, today I’m gonna talk about something kinda cool I did – making a deer zodiac sign. You know, like those Chinese zodiac things but with a deer instead. I’ve always thought deer were awesome, so I figured, why not?

First, I gathered up some stuff I had lying around. I found an old piece of wood in the garage, some leftover paint from when I painted my room, and a few brushes. I also printed out a picture of a deer I liked from the internet to use as a reference. I didn’t want to mess up the shape, you know?

Next, I started by sketching the deer onto the wood with a pencil. It took a few tries to get it right, but I kept erasing and redrawing until I was happy with it. I wanted it to look strong and majestic, like those deer you see in the forest.
Then came the fun part – painting! I mixed the paint to get the colors I wanted. I used brown for the body, white for the spots, and black for the eyes and antlers. I carefully filled in the outline I’d drawn, trying to make it look as neat as possible. The paint was a bit old and thick. It was tough.
After the paint dried, I added some details. I used a thin brush to paint on some extra fur texture and highlighted the eyes to make them look more alive. I even painted a little background, with some green for grass and blue for the sky. I’m not a great artist or anything, but it turned out pretty good, I think!
Finally, I added a little hook to the back so I could hang it up. Now it’s hanging on my wall, and it looks great! It’s cool to have something unique that I made myself. Every time I look at it, I feel pretty proud. It reminds me that deer are found throughout the world, and they symbolize all sorts of cool stuff like gentleness, intuition, and being connected to nature.

So yeah, that’s how I made my deer zodiac sign. It was a fun little project, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Maybe I’ll try making some other animal signs in the future. Who knows?
