Why are the major tarot arcana so significant? Understand their deep meanings in your tarot readings now.

Alright, decided to spend some time just with the big guys today, you know, the Major Arcana cards. Sometimes you just gotta focus in.

So, I got my deck out. Didn’t do anything fancy, just pulled out those 22 specific cards. Set the rest of the deck aside. Less is more sometimes, right?

Getting Started

First thing I did was lay them all out in order. From the Fool right up to The World. Spread ’em out on the table so I could see all of them at once. It’s quite a sight, seeing that whole journey laid out visually.

I just looked at them for a bit. Didn’t try to read into them too much initially. Just kinda absorbed the flow, the colors, the whole sequence. You start noticing little things when they’re all together like that.

Going a Bit Deeper

Then I focused on a couple. Picked up The Fool. Looked at that energy, that feeling of stepping off without a care. Made me think about starting something new, maybe a bit naive but full of potential. Put that one down.

Then I went to the other end, The World. Grabbed that one. Totally different vibe. Feels complete, finished, like reaching a goal. Holding the start and the end, you really feel the distance traveled between them.

I spent some time just scanning across the line, seeing the story unfold. You know, the ups and downs shown in the pictures. It’s like a little picture book of life’s big lessons.

  • Pulled out The Lovers – thought about choices.
  • Looked at The Tower – yeah, nobody likes that one, but it’s about shake-ups.
  • Paused at Strength – always like the calm vibe of that one.

A Quick Pull

After staring at the lineup for a while, I gathered just those 22 cards up. Gave them a good shuffle, just the Majors. Didn’t have a specific question, just wanted to see which one would pop out for the day.

I cut the small stack and drew one. Got The Empress. Huh. Okay. Looked at her for a minute. Feels very nurturing, creative, kind of comfortable. Made me think about taking care of things, maybe tending to my little herb garden later, or just being a bit kinder to myself today. Felt like a good card to pull, actually. Calming.

So yeah, that was my practice for today. Just spending time with these core cards. Felt good to reconnect with them on their own. Put them back in the main deck now, ready for whatever comes next time.
