Okay, so the other day I was scrolling through some spiritual blogs, and I stumbled upon this idea of finding your “Tarot Card of the Year.” It sounded pretty cool, a way to get some insight into the year ahead, so I decided to give it a shot. I’m going to walk you through what I did, it’s super simple!
Step 1: Grab a Calculator (Or Use Your Brain!)
First, I figured out my birth date numbers. I mean, you need those, right? My birthday is July 24, 1988. So, that’s:
- Month: 07 (July)
- Day: 24
- Year: 1988
Step 2: The Math Part
Now for the fun part, I added all those numbers from my birthday, also, today’s numbers. I added them all up, like this:
0 + 7 + 2 + 4 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 8 = 39
I repeat for current date, October,25,2024
1+0+2+5+2+0+2+4=16
Step 3: Adding them up
Now, I added 39 and 16, getting 55.
We are not over yet. We need to reduce this number again!
So, 5+5=10
Step 4: Keep It Under 22
I got 10!
So, 10 corresponds to a card in the Major Arcana of the Tarot deck.
Step 5: Find Your Card!
Now, this is where it gets interesting. I looked up which Tarot card corresponds to number 10. Turns out, It’s “Wheel of Fortune”!
I then read up a bit on the Wheel of Fortune card. Seems like it’s all about cycles, change, and destiny. It can mean good luck, unexpected events, and going with the flow. Pretty fitting, considering how unpredictable life can be!
