Okay, so today I messed around with tarot cards, specifically focusing on love readings. It’s something I’ve been curious about for a while, and I finally decided to give it a shot.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed a deck I’d bought a while back. It’s a pretty standard Rider-Waite deck, nothing fancy. I spent some time just shuffling the cards, you know, getting a feel for them. I’m a total newbie, so I didn’t want to jump into anything too complicated.
The Spread
I looked up a simple three-card spread online – past, present, and future. Seemed straightforward enough. I laid the cards out on my table, face down, and then flipped them over one by one.
- Past: The Lovers. Which, okay, makes sense. I’ve had some significant relationships in the past.
- Present: The Star. This one is about hope and inspiration. Feeling pretty good about that.
- Future: Two of Cups. Ooh, partnership and connection. I am curious!
My Takeaway
Honestly, the whole experience was kinda fun. I’m not sure how much I believe in it, but it did get me thinking about my love life, past, present, and future. It also give me some direction to do.
I definitely plan to play with the deck and try some other readings sometime!
