Okay, so, I’ve been seeing this “life path number” thing all over the internet lately, and I got curious. My friend told me it’s kind of like a way to figure out your personality and stuff, based on your birthday. Sounds a bit woo-woo, but hey, I was bored.

I started digging around, and I found out that each number has some sort of meaning, like Number 1 means leader and so on. Turns out there’s a way to combine numbers too, and I stumbled upon this thing called “Life Path Number 45”. Apparently, it’s a mix of 4 and 5.
Figuring Out My Own Number
I’m not 45 years old (yet!), so it wasn’t just my age. It’s like this whole calculation thing. First, I had to find out what numbers 4 and 5 were all about. I don’t know exactly but I think it’s about work and change from what I read.
Next, I needed to do the actual calculation for 45. It seems it’s 4+5=9. That is to say, if your life path number calculation comes out to 45, you have to add the individual digits together to get 9. I had to add up the numbers of my birthday. Not going to share my actual birthday, sorry! But basically, you add up the month, day, and year until you get a single number, or in some cases, a “master number” like 11, 22, or 33. If you get, like, 45, you add 4 and 5, and you end up with 9.
The Experiment
So, I did the whole adding thing. It was kind of a pain, to be honest. And guess what? I got a 9. Okay, that’s kind of cool, I guess. But what did it mean?
Now, I started digging into what Number 9 is supposed to be. I had a sense of what Number 9 means, but to verify it, I did another round of internet searching. It’s all about compassion, and wisdom.

Putting It to the Test
To see if this whole thing was for real, I decided to, like, really pay attention to my actions for a week. Was I really being more compassionate? Was I making wiser decisions? It was a bit weird at first, always thinking about this number 9 stuff. Like, if I was about to lose my temper, I’d think, “Wait a minute, am I being compassionate right now?”
- Day 1: Tried to be extra patient with my annoying coworker. Surprisingly, it worked. We actually had a decent conversation for once.
- Day 2: Volunteered to help my neighbor carry groceries. Felt good, but also my back hurt a little.
- Day 3: Made a conscious effort to listen more and talk less in a meeting. Got some positive feedback, which was nice.
- Day 4: Donated some old clothes to charity. Felt like I was making a tiny difference, I guess.
- Day 5: Had a really tough decision to make about a project at work. Instead of rushing, I took my time and thought it through. Think I made the right call.
- Day 6: Called my grandma just to chat. She was super happy. Made me happy too.
- Day 7: Reflected on the week. Did I feel different? Maybe a little.
The Verdict
So, after a week of this life path number experiment, did I become a totally different person? Nope. But did it make me more aware of my actions and choices? Yeah, I think so. It’s like having a little reminder to be a better version of myself. Will I keep doing this whole life path number thing? Maybe. It’s kind of fun, and it’s definitely given me something to think about. I mean, it got me to call my grandma, and that’s always a good thing.
