Oh boy, let me tell you about my little adventure with tarot cards. I’ve always been a bit curious about this stuff, you know, the whole fortune-telling thing. So, I decided to give it a shot. Not to actually predict the future or anything, but just to see what the fuss was about. I figured the best way to start was to find a decent guide, something to help me understand what each card means. I mean, they’ve got all these pictures and symbols, it’s like a whole different language!

So, I started my quest. I wanted something simple, something a beginner like me could easily get into. I found some free courses online which was pretty sweet, I love free stuff, don’t you? It is a kind of course and claims you could get a certificate at the end, how cool is that? But there are too many things to read and some stuff is just too complicated for me.
Then I was trying to find some PDF files, I found this one, called “The Ultimate Guide to Tarot Card Meanings” by someone named Brigit Esselmont. Sounded fancy, right? I thought, “This is it, this is the one that’s gonna make me a tarot expert.” Well, let’s just say it was a bit overwhelming at first. There was just so much information!
But I kept at it. I started with the Major Arcana, the big shots of the tarot deck. Twenty-two cards, each one packed with meaning. Take “The Fool,” for example. The guide says it means you’re out of sync with the world. It’s all about understanding the symbolism. They say tarot is a language of the “collective mind,” whatever that means.
Anyway, I spent a good chunk of time just reading through the descriptions, trying to wrap my head around it all. It was a lot to take in. The guide is supposed to help people understand the inner meaning of these symbols, so the cards can “yield.” I guess that means they start making sense.

It’s not just about memorizing the meanings, though. It’s about connecting with the cards, feeling the energy, or something like that. I’m still working on that part. But hey, it’s been a fun journey so far. I even did a few readings for myself, just for kicks. I’m not saying I’m a believer now, but it’s definitely interesting to see how the cards can reflect your current situation or feelings. It’s kind of like a mirror, in a way. I mean, there’s a lot of symbolism in those cards, and it’s pretty wild how it can sometimes match up with what’s going on in your life. Even if you don’t believe in the mystical side of it, it’s a cool way to think about things from a different perspective.

So yeah, that’s my tarot story. I’m no expert, but I’m learning. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll be able to give a decent reading to someone who actually wants one. For now, I’m just enjoying the process and having a bit of fun with it. Oh, and the PDF guide is still there on my computer. It’s a good one. I think it’ll be helpful as I keep going with this tarot thing. I hope my experience could help you to get into this. It’s a wonderful experience.
