Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards for a while now, and I’ve started to notice some pairings just pop up way more often than others. And when they do? It’s like the universe is shouting something at me. So, I figured I’d start keeping track, you know, like a little tarot experiment. I grabbed a notebook and started jotting down every time I saw certain card combinations, along with what was going on in my life at the time.
My Little Tarot Experiment
I started pretty simply. I’d do a daily draw – just three cards – and see what came up. I wasn’t looking for anything specific, just letting the cards do their thing. The first few weeks, it was all kind of random, nothing really stood out. But then, boom! The Lovers and Two of Cups kept appearing together. Like, a lot.
At first, I was like, “Okay, cool, love is in the air… or something.” I’m single, so I wasn’t really sure what to make of it. But then I started thinking about it in a broader sense – partnerships, collaborations, you know? And wouldn’t you know it, I was actually in the middle of negotiating a new project at work with a potential business partner. It totally reframed the whole thing for me! It made me realize the importance of harmony and mutual respect in this deal.
Digging Deeper into the Cards
So, that got me hooked. I started being more intentional with my readings. If I had a specific question, I’d focus on that while shuffling. And the combinations! They started getting really interesting. I had:
- The Star and The Moon showing up whenever I was feeling lost and unsure about my creative * means the balance of hope and intuition.
- The Empress and The Emperor, appearing together at times when I had conflict.I was trying to balance my power and some kind of structures.
- The Tower and The Chariot popped up right before a period of major (and I mean major) upheaval in my *’s all about will. I was trying to control what’s going to happen next.
It wasn’t always easy to interpret, though. Sometimes I’d get combos that just made no sense at first. Like, The Hermit and The Wheel of Fortune? What was that supposed to mean? I had to really sit with those, meditate on them, and sometimes even pull out my trusty tarot book (yeah, I have one of those) to get some clarity.
What it all boiled to…
After a few months of doing this, I realized it wasn’t just about predicting the future (which, let’s be honest, is a bit of a crapshoot anyway). It was more about understanding the energies at play in my life. The combinations helped me see patterns, recognize my own strengths and weaknesses, and make more conscious choices. I can see what kind of choices and possibilities I have.
It’s still a work in progress, of course. I’m still learning, still experimenting. But it’s become this really cool tool for self-reflection and growth. And hey, if it helps me navigate the occasional rough patch, even better! It’s like having a little cosmic cheat sheet, or at least, that’s how I like to think of it.
