First, I just typed that exact phrase into the YouTube search bar. A TON of videos popped up. I felt immediately overwhelmed. Lots of thumbnails with sparkly crystals and intense-looking people staring into the camera.
My First Clicks
I started by clicking on a few videos with the most views. The logic was, “Hey, if tons of people are watching, it must be good, right?” Wrong. One video was just someone rambling about their personal life for 10 minutes before even mentioning tarot. Another had this super distracting background music that made it hard to focus. Strike one and two.
Narrowing it Down
Then I got a little smarter. I started looking for videos that actually showed the reader doing readings. I figured that was the best way to see if their style resonated with me. Also I found that I should watch at least 5 videos of the same reader in order to make sure he/she is the one.
