Best Tarot Readers on YouTube 2023: Watch These Channels Now!

Okay, so I’ve been getting really into tarot lately. Like, REALLY into it. I started with a basic deck I picked up at a bookstore, but I wanted to dive deeper, you know? So I went down the YouTube rabbit hole, searching for “best tarot readers on youtube 2023.” Here’s how that whole adventure went.

First, I just typed that exact phrase into the YouTube search bar. A TON of videos popped up. I felt immediately overwhelmed. Lots of thumbnails with sparkly crystals and intense-looking people staring into the camera.

My First Clicks

I started by clicking on a few videos with the most views. The logic was, “Hey, if tons of people are watching, it must be good, right?” Wrong. One video was just someone rambling about their personal life for 10 minutes before even mentioning tarot. Another had this super distracting background music that made it hard to focus. Strike one and two.

Narrowing it Down

Then I got a little smarter. I started looking for videos that actually showed the reader doing readings. I figured that was the best way to see if their style resonated with me. I wanted someone who felt genuine, not like they were putting on a show. I also looked for readers who seemed to be focusing on specific areas, like love or career, since that’s what I was most interested in at the time.

I watched snippets of a bunch of different channels. Some were too “woo-woo” for me – lots of talk about spirit guides and past lives, which is fine, but not really my thing. Others were too…clinical? Like they were just reading the textbook definitions of the cards, which felt really impersonal.

Finding My Favorites

Finally, I stumbled upon a few channels that clicked. I found a reader who did these really insightful monthly readings for each zodiac sign. Her energy was calm and her interpretations felt both intuitive and grounded. It was a balance I was really looking for. Another one I subscribed to did these shorter, more focused readings on specific questions, and I liked how clearly she explained the cards and their potential meanings. It felt much easier to apply to my own life.

The Takeaway

My big takeaway from this whole experience? Don’t just go by views or fancy thumbnails. It’s really about finding someone whose reading style you connect with. It might take some time and some clicking around, but it’s worth it to find a tarot reader who feels like a good fit. Also I found that I should watch at least 5 videos of the same reader in order to make sure he/she is the one.

I’m still exploring, but now I have a couple of go-to channels that I really enjoy. It’s been a fun, and sometimes frustrating, journey, but hey, that’s YouTube for you!
