Can Tarot Cards Be Evil? Get Straightforward Advice Here!

Okay, so I saw this “tarot cards evil” thing trending, and I got curious. I’ve always been a bit skeptical, you know, but I thought, “Why not? Let’s try it out.” So, I went and bought a deck of tarot cards from a local bookstore. Just a regular, standard Rider-Waite deck, nothing fancy.

First, I opened the box and, honestly, the artwork was kinda cool. Lots of symbolism, I guess. I laid the cards out on my table. I didn’t have a special cloth or anything, just my plain old kitchen table.

My First Reading

I didn’t really know any specific spreads, so I just decided to pull three cards and see what happened. I shuffled the deck – probably not very well, I’m no expert – and focused on a general question, like, “What do I need to know right now?”

  • First Card: The Devil. Whoa, that’s intense, right? I felt a little shiver, not gonna lie.
  • Second Card: The Tower. Okay, now I’m getting a bit freaked out. Disaster? Upheaval?
  • Third Card: The Star. This one seemed a little more positive, maybe a glimmer of hope after all the drama?

I spent some time looking at the imagery. The Devil had this chained couple, The Tower was crumbling, and The Star had a woman pouring water. I tried to interpret them based on the little booklet that came with the cards. It talked about temptation, sudden change, and hope. I mean it’s kind of easy to make anything fit if you tried to.

I tried to apply it to my life. Was there a “Devil” situation I was facing? Was I about to experience some major “Tower” moment? And was there “Star” hope on the horizon? I jotted down some notes in my journal, just trying to connect the cards to my current situation.

Honestly, it felt a little… dramatic. I’m not sure I “felt” anything evil, but the imagery was definitely powerful. It made me think, that’s for sure. I mean, The Devil and The Tower, those are some heavy cards to pull right off the bat.

I closed up by putting all the cards back to the box, I’ll probably try this again sometime, just to see if I get a different vibe. It’s definitely an interesting experience, even if you’re a skeptic like me. It gets the brain juices flowing, if nothing else!
