Easy 3 Card Yes or No Tarot Spread: Get Quick Guidance for Any Life Decision Now.

Okay, so I’ve been getting into Tarot lately, and I wanted to try a simple spread. I decided to go with the 3-card “Yes or No” spread because, well, it seemed easy enough for a beginner like me.

First, I grabbed my deck. I’ve been using the Rider-Waite deck because it’s pretty classic and the imagery is easy to understand. I shuffled the cards while focusing on my question. I won’t bore you with the details, but it was something work-related that I’ve been stressing about.

I shuffled for a good while, just trying to clear my head and really connect with the cards. Then, I cut the deck into three piles and restacked them. Some people are super specific about how they do this, but I just went with what felt right.

My Card Pull

Once that was done,I flipped over the top three cards, laying them out from left to right.

Here’s what I got:

  • Card 1: The Five of Pentacles. Ugh, not a great start. This card usually represents hardship, financial struggles, and feeling left out in the cold.
  • Card 2: The Star. Okay, this is more like it! The Star is all about hope, inspiration, and renewed faith. A much-needed positive vibe.
  • Card 3: The Chariot. This one is about willpower, determination, and overcoming obstacles. It suggests taking control of the situation.

Interpret time

So, how to read the spread?

I’m starting to believe that the card’s upright or reversed position is important.

Initially, I considered the majority of positive cards for a “Yes,” so I interpreted the Five of Pentacles as a “No” and the two as a “Yes”.

But that’s not enough, the cards are not so simply.

I noticed all the cards is upright!

My first impression was that it’s not a straightforward “yes” or “no.” The Five of Pentacles definitely suggests some challenges or setbacks, represented a initial “No”. But The Star and The Chariot indicate that with hope, and by taking decisive action (The Chariot), I can steer things in a positive direction.

The last two cards gave a obviously “Yes”.

I think of tarot as a guide, and my final judge should follow my heart, so the answer is Yes!

I need take action now!

This was my first time doing this, and it was pretty interesting. It definitely didn’t give me a crystal-clear answer, but it gave me some things to think about, and that’s helpful in itself. I’ll probably try this spread again with different questions and see how it goes.

I think the practice to understand is more important then be a professional tarot reader.
