Is it a Yes or No? The Emperor Tarot Cards Definitive Answer Revealed.

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Tarot cards lately, just for fun, you know? And I got to thinking about using the Emperor card for simple “yes” or “no” questions. I mean, the Emperor’s all about structure and control, so it seemed like it could give a pretty straightforward answer. Here’s how I tried it out.

My Little Experiment

First, I grabbed my deck and shuffled it really well. I wanted to make sure the cards were good and mixed up. While I was shuffling, I focused on my question. I kept it simple, like, “Will I get that freelance gig I applied for?” Nothing too complicated.

Then, I laid the cards face down on the table and fanned them out. I hovered my hand over them for a bit, just trying to feel… I dunno, the energy? Sounds kinda woo-woo, I know, but it felt right.

Finally, I picked a single card. And guess what? It wasn’t the Emperor. It was some other card entirely. So, that was a bit of a bust, right?

I tried again. Same question, same shuffling, same everything. This time, I actually pulled the Emperor!

The general meaning is that the emperor card represents a yes. I want to know if that’s always the case, so I repeat the above steps.

  • I first think of yes/no questions.
  • I shuffle the cards.
  • I pulled the cards.

The cards I got aren’t the Emperor. I try asking more yes/no questions. Sometimes I get it, sometimes not. So, I just took that as my answer. If it’s the Emperor, it leans towards “yes,” especially if it’s upright. If it’s reversed, it might be a “no,” or at least a “maybe, but with obstacles.”

What I Figured Out

Honestly, it’s not super reliable. It is a fun way to use tarot. Maybe 50% of the questions I asked get answered by the Emperor card. Pulling the Emperor card feels like a fun experiment, but I wouldn’t base any major life decisions on it. It’s more like a fun little game than a serious oracle. Tarot, for me anyway, is more about exploring possibilities and thinking about things from different angles. This “yes/no” thing with the Emperor is just a little side quest, I guess!
