Knight of Cups as Feelings:What is the meaning of Tarot Card Love?

Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Tarot lately, and the Knight of Cups keeps popping up in my love readings. I figured, why not do a little experiment and see how this card manifests in real life? So that is what I did!

First, I pulled the Knight of Cups from my deck and placed it on my bedside table. Kind of like a visual reminder, you know? I wanted to see if focusing on its energy would attract anything… or anyone.

My Week of Chivalry (Sort Of)

  • Monday: Nothing huge, but I did notice myself being extra friendly and helpful. Held the door open for a stranger, offered to help a coworker with a project. Small stuff, but felt good.
  • Tuesday: I decided to be more proactive. I texted a friend I hadn’t spoken to in a while, just to see how they were doing. We ended up having a great conversation. It is amazing!
  • Wednesday: Okay, this is where it got a little interesting. I went to my usual coffee shop, and the barista, who’s usually pretty reserved, started chatting me up. We talked about books, and it was surprisingly… nice.
  • Thursday: I felt this urge to be creative. I dusted off my old guitar and started playing. Didn’t write any masterpieces, but it felt good to express myself. I also listened more attentively when friends were talking, really trying to connect.
  • Friday: I had a date! It wasn’t a direct result of the Knight of Cups, I don’t think (we’d planned it before), but I definitely went into it with a more open and romantic mindset. I focused on being present and enjoying the moment.

So, what did I learn? Well, the Knight of Cups isn’t some magic wand that conjures up a prince charming. It’s not the result. But it did seem to shift my focus. I was more attuned to opportunities for connection, more willing to be vulnerable, and more… well, knightly in my own way.

It’s like the card reminded me to be open to love, to lead with my heart, and to embrace my emotions. And honestly, that’s not a bad thing, whether a fairytale romance follows or not. I still keep it around, not as a lucky charm, but as a reminder to be a little more like the Knight of Cups every day. That is my experiment!
