Okay, so this morning, I decided to do a quick Libra tarot reading for myself. I’ve been feeling a bit, you know, unbalanced lately, and figured it couldn’t hurt to see what the cards had to say.
First, I grabbed my favorite deck – the one with the really pretty artwork. I find it easier to connect with the cards when they’re visually appealing, you know? Then, I lit a small candle, just to set a calm mood. Nothing fancy, just a little something to make the space feel a bit more intentional.
I shuffled the deck a few times, really trying to focus on my current situation and what guidance I needed. I wasn’t thinking about anything specific, more just like, “Okay, universe, what’s up?”
Then, I spread the cards out in a simple three-card spread. I don’t usually go for anything too complicated. Past, present, and future – easy peasy.
The Reading
- Past: The Chariot. Makes sense, I did recently have a big project that I pushed through. Felt really in control then.
- Present: Two of Swords. Oh boy. This one always makes me think. It’s that feeling of being stuck at a crossroads, not knowing which way to turn. Yep, that is SO my life right now.
- Future: Knight of Pentacles. Okay, I can work with this. This card usually means slow and steady progress. It’s not a quick fix, but it’s about making practical, grounded choices.
After I pulled the cards, I spent some time just looking at them. I didn’t jump to any conclusions, I just let the images and my own intuition kind of… simmer. I like use a notebook for writting my thoughts.
So, the Two of Swords in the present really resonated. It felt like a confirmation of that indecisive energy I’ve been battling. But the Knight of Pentacles in the future position gave me a bit of hope. It reminded me that even small steps forward are still progress. I don’t need to have all the answers right now. I just need to keep moving, thoughtfully and deliberately.
I blew out the candle, put my cards away, and went about my day feeling a little more grounded. It wasn’t a magic solution, but it helped me to frame my current challenges in a more manageable way.
