Okay, so I’ve been getting really into tarot lately. It’s just… fascinating. And I decided, “Hey, why not try doing a reading for my online store?” It’s a new age store, all crystals and incense and good vibes, so it felt fitting. I wanted to see what the cards would say about its future.
First, I cleared my space. I lit some sage, put on some chill music, and made sure my cat wasn’t going to jump on the table. Gotta have the right atmosphere, you know?
Then, I shuffled my deck. I use the Rider-Waite deck, it’s pretty classic. As I shuffled, I focused on my store, thinking about its current state, my hopes for it, and any challenges I’m facing.
The Reading
I decided to do a simple three-card spread: Past, Present, and Future.
- Past: The Chariot. This card popped up, and I was like, “Okay, that makes sense!” It represents willpower, determination, and overcoming obstacles. And yeah, starting the store definitely took all of that!
- Present: The Star. Whoa. This is a card of hope, inspiration, and renewal. It felt like a good sign, like the store is currently in a positive, flowing energy. This got me pretty excited.
- Future: Ten of Pentacles. Seriously? This card is all about abundance, legacy, and long-term success. I literally gasped! I mean, that’s the dream, right?
After I pulled the cards, I spent some time just sitting with them. I looked at the imagery, thought about the traditional meanings, and let my intuition guide me. It was a really cool process. It got my own gears spinning.
I jotted down my interpretations in my journal. It’s important to keep a record, so I can look back and see how things unfold. I like comparing them over time.
The whole experience was pretty awesome. It felt like I got some real insight, or at least, some serious encouragement! It reinforced my belief that I’m on the right path, and that my store has a bright future. Even if it’s just a bit of fun, it was good fun, and helped me!
I’m definitely going to do more readings for my store, maybe monthly, just to check in and see how the energy is shifting. It’s like having a little cosmic business advisor!
