Relationship Tarot Reading: Get Clarity on Love & Dating Now!

Okay, so I’ve been meaning to try this “relationship tarot” thing for a while. I kept seeing it pop up on my social media feeds, and, well, I’m a sucker for anything a little mystical. Plus, my love life has been… let’s just say interesting lately. So, I figured, why not?

First, I dug out my old tarot deck. It’s this beautiful, kind of vintage-looking one I got at a flea market years ago. I don’t really know much about the individual cards, but I just like how they look and feel.

Next, I needed a spread. A “spread,” for those not in the know, is basically the layout of the cards – like, which card goes where and what each position represents. I googled “relationship tarot spreads” and found a ton of options. I picked a simple three-card one: Past, Present, and Future. Seemed straightforward enough.

The Reading Process

  • I cleared a space on my kitchen table.
  • I lit a candle – mostly for ambiance, but also because it felt like the right thing to do.
  • I shuffled the deck while focusing on my, ahem, “relationship situation.” I’m not gonna lie, I felt a little silly.
  • Then, I cut the deck and laid out the three cards face down.

Here’s where it got interesting:

  • Past: I got The Lovers. I think that is a good card. It’s mean past relationship?
  • Present: The Five of Pentacles. Oh great…
  • Future: The Star. Hmmm, after get some not very good card, The Star is make me feel good!

I spent the next hour or so poring over the little booklet that came with the deck, trying to decipher what it all meant. The Lovers, obviously, seemed to represent a past relationship – maybe a significant one that still had some hold on me. The Five of Pentacles, well, that wasn’t so great. It talked about hardship, insecurity, and feeling left out in the cold. Ouch. Sounded a little too accurate, to be honest.

The Star, though, that gave me some hope. It’s all about renewal, inspiration, and finding your way after a difficult time. Maybe things weren’t as bleak as they seemed?

Honestly, I don’t know how much I really believe in tarot. But it was a fun exercise. It definitely made me think about my relationship patterns and what I want for the future. And who knows, maybe The Star is onto something!
