Okay, so the other day I stumbled upon this thing called “Tarot of Decans.” I’d heard of tarot cards before, obviously, but “decans”? That was new to me. It got me curious, so I decided to dive in and see what it was all about.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to figure out what decans actually are. Turns out, they’re a way of dividing up the zodiac signs into smaller chunks. Each sign gets split into three 10-degree segments, each with its own planetary ruler and, apparently, its own tarot card associations. I’m no astrology expert, mind you, but it sounded interesting enough.
Finding the Right Cards
Next, I had to find a tarot deck that actually focused on decans. Not all of them do, it seems. after search on website ,I find tarot deck that specifically mentioned decans. It had these cool illustrations that supposedly represented the different planetary influences for each decan.
My First Decan Reading
Armed with my new deck and a vague understanding of decans, I decided to give it a shot. I picked a card for my own sun sign’s current decan, just to see what would happen. I’m not gonna lie, the description felt weirdly relevant to what’s been going on in my life lately. I shuffled the cards, I chose one, It can be said that it coincides with my recent situation, which made me feel very magical.
Experimenting and Learning
I’ve been playing around with the deck for a few weeks now, pulling cards for different decans and trying to see how they connect to my own experiences and the people around me. It’s not like I’m suddenly a tarot master or anything, but it’s been a fun way to explore astrology and the cards in a more specific way.
- It’s a process: I’m definitely still learning, and I’m sure there’s a lot more to decans than I’ve grasped so far.
- It’s personal: Like any kind of tarot practice, I think it’s about finding your own way to connect with the cards and what they represent.
- It’s surprising: I’ve been surprised by how often the decan cards seem to resonate with what’s going on, even if it’s just in a small way.
So, that’s my little adventure into the Tarot of Decans. It’s been a fun and unexpected detour into a world I didn’t know much about. Might keep playing around with it and see where it takes me!
