Tarot of the Spirit Spreads: What are the most effective spreads?

Okay, so today I decided to mess around with the “Tarot of the Spirit” deck. I’ve had it for a while, sitting on my shelf, looking all mysterious and whatnot. I figured, why not? Let’s see what all the fuss is about.

First, I cleared off my desk. You know, gotta have a clean space for the cards, right? Makes it feel more, I don’t know, official? Like I’m actually doing something important, not just playing with pretty pictures.

Getting Started

I opened up the little booklet that came with the deck. Honestly, it’s pretty dense. Lots of symbolism and stuff. I’m not gonna lie, I skimmed a lot of it. I’m more of a “learn by doing” kind of person.

Then, I shuffled the cards. I’m not a pro card shuffler by any means. They’re kind of big and slippery, so I probably looked like a total goofball. But hey, it’s all about the intention, right?

The Reading

I decided to do a simple three-card spread. You know, past, present, future. Easy peasy. I laid out the cards, face down, and then flipped them over one by one.

  • Past: The card I got was…interesting. It was a woman holding some kind of glowing orb. The book said something about intuition and inner wisdom. I guess that means I should have listened to my gut more? Who knows.
  • Present: This one showed a figure balancing on a tightrope. The book mentioned something about balance and harmony. Definitely relatable. I feel like I’m always juggling a million things.
  • Future: Okay, this one was a bit spooky. It was a tower being struck by lightning. The book talked about sudden change and upheaval. Yikes! Hopefully, that just means I’ll finally clean out my garage or something.

Final Thoughts

Honestly, I’m not sure what to make of it all. It was fun, though! I’m a little freaked out by that future card, not gonna lie. But I guess that’s the point of tarot, right? To make you think and maybe give you a little nudge in the right direction. I will do some more card pulling tommorow,I’m tired and decide to sleep.

I put the cards back in their box and put them back on the shelf. Maybe I’ll try it again tomorrow. Or maybe I’ll just stick to my usual routine. Who knows! That’s the beauty of life, I guess. It’s all a mystery.
