Okay, so today I tried something a little bit different, and I’m excited to share it with you all. I pulled out my tarot deck and did a love reading, focusing on the Magician card as the outcome. I’ve heard that it could mean a lot of things when it shows up for a love reading, like making dreams come true or maybe even turning romantic wishes into reality. Sounds pretty awesome, right?
So, first things first, I set the mood. I lit some candles, put on some chill music, and just tried to get myself into a relaxed, open state. Then I shuffled my tarot deck, really thinking hard about my love life, or well, the lack of it, and what I wanted to know.
After shuffling, I laid out the cards in the spread I had chosen. It wasn’t anything too fancy, just a simple three-card spread to get a sense of the past, present, and future of my love situation. And for the future or outcome position, I specifically asked about what the Magician might mean for me.
When I drew the Magician for the outcome, I felt a little jolt. I mean, I knew it was a powerful card, but seeing it there, in that position, made me think, “Okay, something’s definitely up.”
- The Magician, from what I gathered, is all about using your own power and taking action. So in the context of love, it seemed to suggest that if I wanted to see changes, I had to be the one to make them happen.
- I also looked into what it meant if the Magician showed up reversed, just to cover all my bases. It sounded like it could be a warning to watch out for trickery or maybe not being totally honest with myself about what I want.
Anyway, I spent some time looking at the Magician card, really taking in the imagery and thinking about what it could mean for me. I wrote down my thoughts in my journal, trying to connect the dots between the card’s meaning and my own experiences and feelings.
What Happened?
After reflecting on the Magician and the other cards in the spread, I realized that I’ve been pretty passive when it comes to love. I’ve been waiting for things to just happen instead of making an effort. Seeing the Magician as the outcome was kind of a wake-up call. I do believe that this card is telling me to be more proactive, to trust my instincts, and to really go after what I want. I also tried to be aware of any hidden feelings I might have, because I also pulled out The Moon, which kind of makes me feel confused about the whole situation.
So, that’s where I’m at. I’m feeling more empowered and a little more hopeful. I’m going to try to channel the energy of the Magician, take some risks, and see where it leads me. I do think that I need to be fair and honest when interacting with people, since Justice also showed up in my reading. Wish me luck! Has anyone else had the Magician show up in a love reading?
