Unlock the King of Spades Tarot Card Meaning Now

Okay, so yesterday I was messing around with my tarot cards, right? Been trying to get better at reading them, and I decided to really dig into one card in particular: the King of Spades.

I started by just looking up the general meaning online. Saw stuff about power, authority, strategic thinking – the usual King stuff, basically. Then I saw some stuff about Spades being like, the “King of Kings” in some card games, the top dog except for the Ace of Spades. Got it.

But just reading about it wasn’t doing it for me. I wanted to, like, feel what the card meant. So I shuffled my deck, focusing on a specific question I had in mind (it was about a career decision, nothing too exciting), and then I pulled the King of Spades.

First thing I did was just stare at the card for a good five minutes. I noticed the details, the way the King was sitting, the stern look on his face, the way he was holding his scepter. I even tried to mimic his posture, sitting up straight and trying to project that kind of confident energy.

Then, I pulled out my journal and started writing. I wrote down everything that came to mind when I looked at the card. Stuff like:

  • Leadership
  • Responsibility
  • Making tough decisions
  • Not backing down

After that, I tried to connect those ideas to my question. Okay, so career decision… the King of Spades is telling me I need to step up, take charge of the situation, and not be afraid to make a bold move. It’s not about playing it safe, it’s about being strategic and going for what I really want.

But here’s the kicker: I didn’t just stop there. I decided to look back at times in my life when I felt like I embodied the King of Spades energy. Times when I had to be strong, decisive, and take control. And you know what? That really helped me understand the card on a deeper level.

I remembered this one time I had to manage a really difficult project at work. Everyone was stressed out, deadlines were looming, and it felt like everything was falling apart. I had to step up, make some tough calls, and really push the team to get it done. It was intense, but we pulled it off, and I learned a lot about my own leadership skills in the process.

The point is, just reading about the meaning of the King of Spades wasn’t enough. I had to actually engage with the card, reflect on my own experiences, and connect it to my personal life. That’s when the real meaning started to click. And that’s what I’m gonna keep doing with all the other cards too!

So, if you’re trying to learn tarot, don’t just memorize the definitions. Get your hands dirty, experiment, and find what works for you. It’s way more fun that way, trust me.
