Virgo New Moon Tarot Spread Explained: Simple Steps for a Powerful Reading

Okay, so, the new moon in Virgo, right? I’ve been feeling this pull to really get organized and set some intentions, and I figured, why not do a tarot spread to help me focus? I grabbed my favorite deck and cleared a little space on my desk. It’s not a fancy setup, just a quiet corner where I can think.

First things first, I lit a candle. It’s just a simple white one, nothing special, but it helps me get in the right headspace. Then, I shuffled my cards. I’m not an expert or anything, but I like to shuffle until it feels right, you know? I spread out the cards in front of me and took a few deep breaths, trying to really connect with the energy of this new moon.

  • Card 1: What area of my life needs the most attention right now? I pulled The Hermit. It made sense. I’ve been feeling a bit withdrawn lately, needing time to reflect. The card seemed to say, “Hey, it’s okay to focus inward, but don’t forget to shine your light.”
  • Card 2: What habits or patterns should I release? This one was The Tower. Whoa, right? I took it as a sign to let go of some old beliefs that were holding me back. A little scary, but also kind of exciting.
  • Card 3: What new opportunities are on the horizon? I got the Ace of Pentacles. That felt good! It’s all about new beginnings, especially in the material realm. Maybe a new project or a chance to improve my finances?
  • Card 4: What practical steps can I take to manifest my intentions? The Chariot came up. To me, that means taking decisive action. No more waiting around—it’s time to move forward with confidence.
  • Card 5: How can I best use the energy of this new moon? And finally, I pulled the Queen of Swords. This card is all about clarity and honesty. It felt like a reminder to be truthful with myself about what I want and to communicate my needs clearly.

After I pulled all the cards, I spent some time just looking at them, thinking about what they meant to me. I wrote down my thoughts in my journal, trying to make sense of it all. It wasn’t like a magic solution, but it gave me some clarity and direction. I felt like I had a better understanding of what I needed to focus on during this new moon cycle. I started to do some plans and clear some old things.

I decided to create a little to-do list based on the cards. You know, practical stuff like cleaning out my closet, updating my budget, and brainstorming some new ideas for a project I’ve been thinking about. And also, I start to learn to say “NO”. It’s simple, but it feels good to have a plan. I think this Virgo new moon is going to be a good one for me. I’m excited to see what unfolds!
