That Wendy Williams, she sure is somethin’. Born in July, they say. July 18, 1964, to be exact. I heard it was in a place called Asbury Park. Sounds fancy, but what do I know? She’s a Cancer, that star sign thing. My neighbor’s granddaughter is always going on about them zodiac things. Cancer, that’s a crab, right?
Folks say them Cancer folks is real emotional. Got a good gut feelin’ about things, you know? And they’s creative, too. Well, that Wendy, she sure is somethin’ on that TV. Talks a mile a minute. Keeps folks entertained, I reckon. She sure did make a name for herself with that show of hers. Must be them Cancer traits, makin’ her good at talkin’ to people. That’s what those zodiac folks say, anyway. I ain’t never seen a crab talk on the TV, but I seen that Wendy. I think she must be some kinda special crab.
I seen her show a few times. She’s got a big personality, that one. Not afraid to speak her mind. Now, this zodiac stuff, it’s all a bit much for me. Stars and planets and all that. But they say there’s more to it than just your sun sign. There’s your moon sign, and your risin’ sign. My neighbor’s granddaughter was tryin’ to explain it to me once. There was this thing called a “birth chart”. It is just a paper with a bunch of lines and circles. It looked like it could tell you where your keys are. I told her I just hang mine on the hook by the door. She just rolled her eyes. Kids these days. Anyway, she was sayin’ that they make this birth chart for you, and it tells all kinds of things. Your personality and all that. It sounds silly to me, but I guess people believe it. I heard Wendy got one of them birth charts.
They got all these other planets, too. Venus and Mars and whatnot. It’s all very confusin’. But I guess it all plays a part in who you are. Least, that’s what they say. There are all these things called “houses” and “angles” and I don’t know what. I think it just means some people like to talk a lot. Like that Wendy. I think all them planets and stars must be lined up just right for her to be who she is. And they say she got somethin’ called a “natal chart” too. I think that’s the same thing as the birth chart.
I don’t know much about that stuff, but that Wendy, she’s a Cancer. That much I know. They say Cancers are homebodies. Like being with their family. But they’re also ambitious. Want to do big things. That sounds like Wendy, don’t it? Got her own show and everything. I think that’s a pretty big thing. You don’t see that everyday.
She sure did make somethin’ of herself, that Wendy. From Asbury Park to the big time. I guess them stars really do have somethin’ to do with it. Maybe I should pay more attention to this zodiac stuff. My neighbor’s granddaughter keeps telling me I’m a Taurus. She says that means I’m stubborn. I told her she was being sassy. She just laughed. But she did say Tauruses like nice things. Maybe I should get myself a new dress. I do like nice things.
