Okay, so the other day, I kept seeing the number 984 everywhere. On license plates, receipts, clocks – you name it. It was starting to feel a little freaky, so I decided to do something about it.
My 984 Angel Number Experiment
First, I grabbed my journal and a pen. I’m a big believer in writing things down. It helps me process stuff, you know?
I started by just free-writing about the number. What did it make me think of? Any feelings or memories that popped up? I scribbled down everything, even if it seemed silly. Mostly, it was just random thoughts like, “Nine is a big number,” and “Eight is kinda curvy.” Nothing groundbreaking.
Then, I decided to get a little more structured. I drew a line down the middle of the page. On one side, I listed all the places I’d seen 984 that day. On the other side, I tried to connect those instances to anything going on in my life.
- License plate: “ABC 984” – Maybe I need to take a road trip?
- Grocery receipt: $9.84 – Hmm, I am trying to be more mindful of my spending.
- Clock: 9:48 AM – Maybe I felt to be more productive in morning.
I spent a good hour just staring at those lists, trying to find some kind of pattern or meaning. To be honest, most of it felt like a stretch. But, I did notice that a few of the things I’d written down related to taking action and moving forward on some personal goals.
So, I decided to focus on that. I picked one small goal I’d been putting off – organizing my closet (glamorous, I know). I figured, even if the number 984 was just a coincidence, at least I’d get something done!
I spent the rest of the afternoon tackling that closet. It wasn’t magical or anything, but it felt good to finally do it. And you know what? I haven’t seen 984 since. Maybe it was just my brain’s way of telling me to get my act together. Or maybe it was just a random number. Either way, my closet is clean, and I feel a little less crazy.
It’s all still a bit of a mystery, but hey, at least it got me moving!
