Best Taurus Tarot Cards: Ultimate Guide & Where to Buy Them Now.

Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get into tarot for a while now, and I finally took the plunge! I decided to focus on Taurus, my sun sign, ’cause, why not? It felt like a good place to start. Today, I’m gonna walk you through my little experiment with Taurus tarot cards.

First, I got myself a deck. Nothing fancy, just a standard Rider-Waite deck I picked up from Amazon. I figured I should start with the basics, you know? No need to go all out with some crazy, elaborate deck when I’m just a beginner.

Diving into the Major Arcana

I started by separating out the Major Arcana cards because those are the big, overarching themes, right? The heavy hitters. I was looking specifically for cards that resonate with Taurus energy – that grounded, earthy, sensual vibe.

  • The Hierophant: This one was pretty obvious. It’s ruled by Taurus, so, duh! It’s all about tradition, structure, and sticking to established ways. Very Taurus.
  • The Empress: Okay, this one screams Taurus to me. Abundance, nature, beauty, pleasure… It’s the ultimate earth mother card.
  • The Emperor: Maybe a bit of a stretch, but hear me out. Taurus can be stubborn and like things their way. The Emperor is all about control and authority, so I felt like there was a connection there.

I laid these cards out and just kind of… stared at them. I tried to feel their energy, you know? See what they brought up for me. It was interesting to see the different facets of Taurus reflected in these cards.

Exploring the Minor Arcana

Then, I moved on to the Minor Arcana. I knew that the suit of Pentacles was a direct connection to the earth element, so I focused on those first.

I went through each card in the Pentacles suit, from Ace to King, and jotted down some notes on how I felt each one related to Taurus. Some were obvious, like the cards depicting abundance and material wealth. Others, I had to think about a bit more. Like, how does the patience of the Seven of Pentacles relate to Taurus’s perseverance? Stuff like that.

Putting It All Together

Finally, I tried to create a little spread using only the cards I’d identified as “Taurus-y.” It wasn’t a traditional spread or anything, I just wanted to see how these cards interacted with each other. It was a bit clunky, to be honest, but it was a good learning experience!

All the card information is based on my own research, but I have to remember that these are my own views and experiences.

Overall, it was a fun little exercise! I definitely feel like I have a better understanding of both Taurus and the tarot cards now. I’m still a total newbie, but this was a good first step. I’m thinking of doing this for all the signs, eventually. Maybe Gemini next? We’ll see!
