Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards lately, and today I decided to focus on the Four of Wands. I’m still pretty new to this, so don’t expect any expert-level insights. This is just me, stumbling through and sharing what I find.
First, I cleared my space. I just tidied up my desk, you know, made it feel a little less chaotic. I lit a candle, nothing fancy, just a regular tea light. I also put on some quiet background music to help me concentrate. It made the practice atmosphere well.
Then, I shuffled my deck. While I was shuffling, I tried to clear my mind and focus on, like, general good vibes, stability, and celebration – the things I’d read the Four of Wands is about. It’s hard to keep focused when you tried hard, right? I try to focus on it as possible as I can.
I laid out the cards. It’s a simple, single-card draw today. And boom, there it was – the Four of Wands. I spent some time just looking at the card. I noticed the four wands, obviously, all decorated with flowers and garlands. There were people dancing in the background, and what looked like a big, welcoming home or castle further back. It all felt very festive and happy.
My Interpretation Process
- Initial reaction: My gut feeling was all about joy, celebration, and a sense of accomplishment. Like, “Yay, we did it!” kind of energy.
- Connecting to my life: I tried to think about where this card might apply to my own situation. Recently, I finished a big project at work, so that felt relevant. It also made me think about my home life and how grateful I am for my family and friends.
- Journaling: I grabbed my notebook and jotted down all these thoughts. Nothing structured, just a brain dump of everything the card made me think and feel. I wrote down keywords like “homecoming,” “harmony,” “success,” and “community.”
Finally, I tried something new that I saw in somewhere. I try to say thanks to the card and the deck for sharing with me. It is a good ending for today’s practice.
So, that’s it! My little Four of Wands experiment. It’s a work in progress, but I’m enjoying the process of learning and connecting with the cards. And practice made perfect. I belive I can get professional after more practice!
