Okay, so I’ve been feeling kinda lost lately, like I’m at a crossroads and have no freakin’ clue which way to go. So, I decided to dust off my tarot deck and try a spread specifically for clarity. I’m no expert, but I figured, what the heck, right?
Getting Started
First, I cleared my space. I lit some incense (lavender, because it’s calming) and put on some chill music. I just sat there for a few minutes, breathing and trying to get my head in the game.
Then, I shuffled the cards, focusing on my question: “What do I need to understand to move forward in my life right now?” I shuffled them a lot, until it felt right to stop.
The Spread
I laid out the cards in a simple three-card spread. I’ve seen a few different ones for clarity, but this one seemed the easiest to get my head around:
- Card 1: The Current Situation
- Card 2: The Obstacle or Challenge
- Card 3: The Advice or Action to Take
I flipped over the first card: The Two of Pentacles. Okay, juggling, balance, trying to keep multiple things going at once. Yep, that’s definitely me right now.
Next, I turned over the second card: The Five of Swords. Oof. Conflict, disagreements, maybe even feeling defeated. Yeah, that resonates too. I’ve been feeling pretty stuck and frustrated.
Finally, I revealed the third card: The Star. Hope, inspiration, faith. Okay, that’s a relief! It suggests that I need to believe in myself and trust the process, even if things are tough.
My Takeaway
So, putting it all together, it seems like I’m trying to do too much at once (Two of Pentacles), which is leading to conflict and frustration (Five of Swords). But the cards are telling me to have faith and believe that things will work out (The Star).
It also gave me something to think about and work on. Tarot is a good tool for me!
