Okay, here’s my blog post about my little adventure with tarot card placement:
So, I’ve been messing around with tarot cards lately, just for fun, you know? And the thing that always got me was the placement. Like, where do you even put the cards? I saw all these fancy spreads online, but I wanted to start simple. So I just started experimenting.
My First Attempts
First, I just laid them out in a straight line. I dealt three cards, thinking past, present, future. It felt… okay. Kinda basic, though. I read the cards, did some quick Googling to help interpret them, and jotted down some notes in my journal. It was a decent starting point, but the straight line felt too, I don’t know, linear? Life’s messier than that.
Trying a Simple Cross
Next, I tried a little cross shape. One card vertical, one horizontal across it. I figured the vertical could be the “situation” and the horizontal the “challenge” or something. This felt a bit better! It was like the cards were interacting more, you know? I spent a little more time with this one, really trying to see how the two cards related to each other. This definitely felt more insightful.
Branching Out (Literally)
Then I got a little ambitious. I decided to try a three-card spread, but instead of a line, I made it like a little tree branch. One at the bottom, then two branching out above it. I thought of it as “root cause,” “option 1,” and “option 2.” I liked this! It felt more like a decision-making process. I even used different colored pens in my journal to track the different “paths.”
- Root Cause – Bottom card
- Option 1 – Top Left card
- Option 2 – Top Right card
What I Learned
Honestly, the biggest thing I learned is that there’s no one right way. It’s all about what feels right to you. Moving the cards around, trying different shapes, it just changes the way you think about the reading. It’s like, the placement itself adds another layer of meaning. I’m still a total newbie, but I’m definitely going to keep experimenting with different layouts. It makes the whole tarot thing way more engaging.
I Pulled cards from diffrent postion.
I Compared the diffrent meaning.
I Wrote down what I found.
